Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Versus ("the app"), operated by the Versus team. By signing in and using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Versus is a free tournament tracking tool. You may use it to create, manage, and share tournaments for personal or recreational purposes.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for any content you enter, including player names and tournament data.
• You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others.

2. Your Account

You sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Data

Tournament data you create is stored in your account and is yours. You can delete any tournament at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.

4. Sharing Features

Versus allows you to generate shareable links (live and public read-only). By sharing a link, you make that tournament's data visible to anyone with the link. Share links responsibly.

5. Availability

We aim to keep Versus available, but we make no guarantees of uptime or uninterrupted service. The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss or disruption to your use.

6. Intellectual Property

The Versus name, design, and code are owned by the Versus team. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
